The rear-wheel drive Cayman is offered in four variants: Platform, S, R and Dark Version. The Cayman Platform is powered by a 265-hp 2.9-liter smooth six-cylinder engine; all other versions get a 3.4-liter smooth six-cylinder with direct fuel hypodermic injection, producing 320 power in the S version and 330 power in the R and Dark Version. Both engines are mated to a six-speed stick move, while Porsche's PDK seven-speed double-clutch gear box, such as guide move function and rim paddles, is optionally available.
